At the trade association's annual meeting, two awards were presented to the Employee of the Year. On Saturday 4 May, the Lundaloppet starts, with over 7000 registered runners. Lund City Samverkan, in collaboration with Lundaloppet, invites you to a FASHION SHOW in the city centre. At 12-13 a fashion show is held in the form of a parade that shows spring fashion and is accompanied by the samba orchestra Samband. The parade goes from Mårtenstorget via Skomakaregatan and Lilla Fiskaregatan to Bantorget. Look out for Goodie Bags and promotions! Lund's most photographed staircase can be found in the Stadshallen, where Litteralund is currently underway! Litteralund is Sweden's largest festival for children's and youth literature and runs until April 19. During Litteralund, authors and illustrators gather to give us new reading and visual experiences. The festival week contains programs for different target groups – a program for school students, one for young people from about 13 years of age and up, a public children's and family day and finally a conference. In today's Sydsvenskan, it appears that the Handelsföreningen supports the proposal of "creeping speed for motorists who are allowed to drive in the city center". Of course we don't. Together with the municipality of Lund and a wide range of actors, including Lund University, the Church of Sweden, the Swedish Property Agency, City Samverkan and Jernhusen, we have signed a joint declaration of intent regarding the development of the city centre. Regarding the traffic in the city centre, it states, among other things, that it should be quick, clear and easy to get to the city center by both bus, train and car; that pedestrians and cyclists must be prioritized and that it must be easy to orientate in the city center for all users, including international visitors, with clear routes, information and signage showing the way. The text that Sydsvenskan refers to about creeping can be found in Lund municipality's internal strategy document, which describes "pedestrian zone" and "car soft zone".
