" PAW AND POWER, , 30 August - 15 September, Tahir Ant
“What if cats ruled the world?”
What you see here is not a dream, but a choice of reality.
I choose to live in a world where power is not about cruelty, but about dignity.
Where rulers spin instead of commanding, and where soldiers chase feathers instead of going to war.
In my kingdom, sultan cats stretch across velvet thrones, marshals slowly blink before leading their troops, and poets spin poems in the moonlight.
There are no conquests here, no cries for more. Only rest, sunshine, tenderness — and quiet pride.
These paintings are more than playful portraits.
They are a quiet but powerful protest.
A soft paw print against what we humans have done to our world.
A whisper in fur and fabric:
“What if we had left the world under their paws?”
