A warm welcome to Lund city center September 1-7 for Lund City Strong Streets!

Lund's city center is built around the medieval street network. Each street has its own character and is today filled with a unique range of commerce, culture and entertainment. Every year we highlight some of these fantastic streets, in collaboration with property owners and business owners.

September 1–7, 2025, Klostergatan, Lilla Fiskaregatan, Stora Gråbrödersgatan and Bantorget will be bustling with life;

• Shops, restaurants, cafes and other businesses offer events throughout the week.
• In the courtyard on Stora Gråbrödersgatan, with Finsta's mural, interesting lectures and presentations are held.
• We have workshops with property owners and traders about how the streets could look and function in the future.
• Architects and designers are building eight unique pieces of furniture along Lilla Fiskaregatan. Lunda residents can vote for which one they like best.
• Cyclists on Lilla Fiskaregatan are invited to reduce their speed for a few days to make it easier and safer to stroll.
• On the weekend there will be a Flea Market in the yard on Stora Gråbrödersgatan, by the mural.
