At the City Library you can borrow books, read newspapers in different languages, study, use a computer or wireless network. You can also listen to author talks, lectures and debates, or why not take part in language cafes or training courses on digital technology, source criticism and AI? Children and their adults can do crafts in the Utsikten craft room, test new technology and robots in workshops, take part in story times or baby singing and much more. You can find everything that is happening in the library's calendar at folkbiblioteken.lund.se/kalender
The City Library also has Oasen, a section especially for those aged 16-22. Here you will also find the Lund Collection, a unique collection of books, newspaper clippings, photographs and other material about Lund and the city's history. If you feel like a coffee or something to eat, there is Marta's café next to the library.
The City Library is part of the Lund Public Library, which also consists of ten district libraries and the digital and mobile library.
