See Your Art – Children & Youth Art Gallery

Se Din Konst is Sweden's first art gallery for children and young people. Here, children and young people are not only given the opportunity to experience art, but also participate in creating it themselves. With a large exhibition hall, a spacious studio and a lush atrium courtyard, the old district court building will be transformed over three years into a vibrant meeting place where young people's creative expressions and stories take center stage.

See Your Art began as an Inheritance Fund project in 2021 and has since grown to become Sweden's first and so far only art gallery for children and young people.
Through exhibitions, collaborations with artists and a broad network of schools and municipalities, the project has highlighted children's perspectives and artistic expression in everything from public spaces to digital archives. The Children & Young People's Art Gallery will be run as a pilot project between 2025-2027, based in the old district court in Lund. It explores what a children's art gallery can be and how it can be run.

The development work is carried out in collaboration with children and young people and other stakeholders. The art gallery is seeking continued funding and a future permanent location in Lund.
