Saturday and Sunday 16-17 September (Saturday 9-16, Sunday 9-15)
Get fluency in braids and textured patterns
With knit and purl stitches, you can knit almost anything. Discreetly stylish structures and winding braids - the two techniques also work well to combine.
The oldest surviving socks have patterns with purl stitches and even old work garments such as fishing shirts were decorated with relief patterns. This is where the history of knitting begins. But it is also the latest trend in sweater patterns.
A course for those who want to try knitting fun structured patterns, get nifty braiding tips and learn more about which yarns and colors are good for this kind of simple knitting technique.
