View of the 2nd floor of the Dean's House

Follow Kulturens guides and visit the newly restored top floor of the medieval Dean's House!

The Dean's House represents a medieval residence for a dean, the dean's closest man in the canonry at the cathedral in the late Middle Ages. The house was moved from Kyrkogatan in Lund to Kulturen in 1908, and was thus preserved. During 2024-2025, the 2nd floor of the house was reconstructed and now shows an interpretation of an exclusive home environment for a priest.

Collection at the back of the White House (museum entrance building).

Due to limited space on the top floor, the guides will give a brief introduction to the house on the first floor, then participants will be allowed to visit the top floor in groups of 6 at a time. Max 12 seats per viewing, advance purchase required.
