Ilse has run away from home. She makes her way through a large forest where she encounters various strange figures that put her prejudices to the test. A partly humorous and partly frightening fairy tale with elements of celebration, singing and effective scenery. Can we see beyond the preconceptions we carry? The music is composed especially for the production and is performed live on stage by the klezmer/Balkan band Kizelo Mleko.
