Marianne Andersson Embäck and Lars Embäck have lived a life together. The presentation at galleri cozmo is a unique opportunity to meet the two artists at a joint exhibition. What happens in the encounter between an installation of Lars Embäck and Marianne Andersson Embäck's drawings and paintings?
Between them there is a constant dialogue about art and their own work and we find thematic similarities in their expressions about memory and the human condition. At the same time, they choose different approaches and techniques. Lars Embäck works autobiographically in a way that turns towards the collective, while Marianne Andersson Embäck is an observer who portrays her world around her with a multi-faceted iconography. Lars works across borders in different techniques. Marianne's means of expression are painting and drawing.
