Why we do this
Together we want to reduce loneliness and prejudice around mental illness.
We want to show that all people belong together, everyone is important and no one should have to feel left out.
Together we create a common symbol of friendship, caring and community throughout Sweden.

What we do
Anyone who wants to can join – schools, preschools, associations, companies, churches, healthcare facilities, meeting places and private individuals.
Together we form the Friendship Chain:
Hold hands or stand in a circle and show solidarity. Write small notes with encouraging or kind words – put them together into a long chain. Make friendship bracelets, hearts or ribbons, the goal is Sweden's largest friendship bracelet! Feel free to take photos or videos (think about GDPR) and share on social media to spread the warmth.
How it should look
Color: Purple (symbol of mental health) or rainbow colors (symbol of diversity and inclusion).
Symbol: A chain or ribbon that shows community, hope and friendship.
