Lund C is Sweden's third largest railway station, now with 356 trains per day and with partly dangerous freight traffic. "The current station is undersized," and the number of travelers is increasing.
How can the station be made to function over time, handle the flow of travelers out to local traffic and the city, informatively, safely and securely? Should the passenger flow be routed over or under the tracks, or should the trains go in a tunnel? How should the station, with its entrances, entrances and exits, be designed to fit into the cultural environment of the city center? How should the city meet arriving travelers? And, do we have to move the Customs House?
Organized by the urban environment association AFSL. Free admission, no pre-registration required.
