What brings you the most happiness in life? Maybe it's spending time with friends and family. Or maybe you feel best when you get to be in nature, engage in culture, or learn something new. In this workshop, we invite reflection and discussion about how we can and want to reward ourselves without causing a major burden on the climate.
For an hour, you will think about what makes you feel good about spending time and money on and discuss it with others. We take as our starting point research on sufficiency. In short, sufficiency is about learning to be more satisfied with what you already have in areas with a large climate impact. At the same time, time, money and energy are freed up that can be spent in areas that feel rewarding without leading to large greenhouse gas emissions – that's what we call treating ourselves for the climate.
The workshop will be held in Botulfshörnan in the City Hall. In connection with the event, there is the opportunity to buy drinks from Taperian and we will offer snacks. Register by Wednesday, April 15th and we will also offer a non-alcoholic beer! Drop-ins are allowed if space permits. Come a little early to have time to get your drink before the workshop starts. There is an opportunity to mingle afterwards and talk sufficiency with the municipality's energy and climate advisor.
