Youth Council – Democracy

The Youth Council is an opportunity for you 12–25 years old to participate and influence how you want your Lund to be. Here, as a visitor, you have the opportunity to discuss directly with politicians, civil servants and the business community. The spring Youth Council takes place at the City Hall on April 28 from 8:00 to 11:30 on the theme of democracy. The program, which is updated continuously, looks like the following:

• Meet representatives from the political youth associations
• Youth talk with value exercises together with those in power and politicians
• The workshop "Your voice in Europe: from idea to action" together with Europa Direkt
• Role-playing
• Debate workshop where you can sharpen your argumentation techniques
• Climate and environment workshop
• Try voting in real polling booths
