Guitarist, banjoist and multi-instrumentalist Eugene Chadbourne has been a headstrong joker in the American improvisational game since the 1970s. He played early on with Anthony Braxton and John Zorn and was a pioneer in avant-rock music. No genre is foreign to Doc Chad. He often mixes elements such as Country & Western and Folk with free improvisation and his own songs. What will happen when he meets drummer Kresten Osgood and pianist Mathias Landæus this evening is anyone's guess.
