Ellen Thureson and Wilma Björkgren's two-part concert ranges between modern jazz-pop and groove-based ballads. Ellen Thureson's music is colored by softly shimmering piano, experimental guitar riffs and messy drum accompaniment. Her unique vocal melodies adorn the songs that are both touching and challenging. Wilma Björkgren's musical world is bordered by melodic bass lines that meet heartfelt and soft vocals, in songs where storytelling is the focus. Swinging riffs and a playful 70s-inspired style characterize their own sound that has influences from both jazz, rock and ballads. Together with the world's best backing band, they will play live on January 22 at Café Ariman in Lund.
