Chronology is almost unimportant. What we are looking for is condensation.
In The Folded Properties of Time, memories are set in motion. Seemingly vastly different events that are far apart in time and space can end up close to each other and form an unexpected shortcut. We search surfaces of dissolved memories and compressed sequences of events in search of unknown connections. We portray those we thought we would be close to for the rest of our lives and those we knew from the beginning that we would one day lose. Where are the remains of all the people we have met?
