Swedish punk rock favorites The Baboon Show continue to be an unstoppable force on stage. After a successful year with an anniversary tour and new material, they are now back – in the spring of 2026 they will go on the “Be a Baboon Tour” with eight stops around Sweden. On April 18, they will land at Mejeriet. With them they will have The Headlines as special guests.

The Baboon Show was formed in Stockholm in 2003 by Cecilia Boström (vocals), Håkan Sörle (guitar) and Niclas Svensson (drums). Since then, the band has grown to become one of Sweden's most popular live bands, known for their intense and energetic performances. They made an early breakthrough with their DIY EP This Is It! (2004) and their first three full-length albums, which were released in record time – quickly earning them a loyal fan base and radio play throughout the country.
From the album Punk Rock Harbour (2011) onwards, The Baboon Show has collaborated with producer Pelle Gunnerfeldt (The Hives, Randy), releasing albums on the German Kidnap Music label. Their catalogue includes critically acclaimed albums such as Radio Rebelde (2018) and God Bless You All (2023). Most recently in February 2025, they released the EP Forward in Reverse with three new songs.
The band has toured extensively in both Scandinavia and the rest of Europe, but also in countries such as China and Cuba – where they have performed several times and even recorded music together with Cuban musicians. In 2025 they celebrated their 20th anniversary with a big anniversary tour, and in the spring of 2026 the next chapter awaits: Be a Baboon Tour.
