Norms around gender and sexuality have varied throughout history and in different places. LGBTQIA+ people have sometimes lived openly, but more often have been forced into the closet. At Skissernas Museum, we find queer stories by looking for queer motifs in art and highlighting stories about artists and cultural figures whose lives were shaped by the non-normative.

The show lasts about 45–60 minutes and is included in the entrance ticket. Collection in the Swedish hall.
