Hanna Wendelbo is a designer and designer with special skills in pattern design. Ever since her education at HDK in Gothenburg with her degree in 2001, Hanna has worked in the industry as a pattern designer. With experience from several companies in the Swedish wallpaper industry, Hanna has designed more than three hundred patterns that adorn the walls in both Swedish and international homes. Inspiration is constantly drawn from the flowers Hanna grows in her own garden. They are painted in gouache or watercolor and then reported up to floral patterns for both fabric and wallpaper. Hanna has drawn patterns for eg IKEA, Lindex, Klippans Yllefabrik, Borås Tapeter and Midbec Tapeter to name a few. During the lecture, Hanna talks about her profession as a pattern designer and how she finds inspiration among flowers and leaves.
