The SARA school is visiting Kulturen in Lund! NOTE! The course runs for two days, August 1–2, from 13–16 pm.
For the second summer in a row, SARA is coming to Kulturen in Lund and holding courses for children and young people. Try out classic methods in realistic drawing! For those between 10-17 years old who love drawing and want to learn how to depict your subjects realistically.
We will start step by step by first copying simpler lithographs by the artist Charles Bargue and then drawing something from life – still life and portrait with a model (this only applies to the four-day course).
The focus will be on building a good foundation with correct proportions and simple shading by carefully observing and measuring our subjects.
Date and time: Saturday 1/8 and Sunday 2/8, 13–16 pm with coffee break. In the Hornsberg Hall.
Material: We use pencil and charcoal. The materials are included in the course fee.
Fare: 600 SEK per person for 2 days. Max 10 places. No prior knowledge required!
The Swedish Academy of Realist Art (SARA) is a traditional art school in Simrishamn that teaches classical methods in realistic art. The school runs full-time education for adults during the academic year, and in the summer offers shorter courses for both children and adults.
