Super Music Club #4: Diane Emerita, Quiet Commotion

Super Music Club and Skissernas Museum invite you to a creative evening with Diane Emerita and Quiet Commotion.

During the evening, you will follow the songwriting process through a stripped-down mini-concert with unreleased music and a live interview led by jazz guitarist Viktor Jansåker – all with the hope of inspiring the audience.

Diane Emerita captivates her listeners with her strong voice, soft melodies and songs about human relationships. Her background in classical piano is noticeable in the piano compositions that are woven into her alternative pop songs, which also contain jazzy and soulful elements. Listening to Diane Emerita's poetic soundscape feels like a warm embrace. She has been praised by, among others, SVT, Babel, Aftonbladet, GAFFA and P3, and has also received attention in Denmark.

Daniel Katz is only 17 years old but already has several years of recording experience behind him. Under the name Quiet Commotion, he released his first sketches at the age of thirteen and has already performed at various indie scenes around Sweden, including at Slaktkyrkan in Stockholm. According to music journalist Per Sinding Larsen, “rocket career is an understatement” when it comes to this musician. During the evening you will hear a duo performance with vocals, guitar and clarinet together with Kalle Isenbecker Solheim.
