Sunny Saturdays is the student band from Lund that has established itself on the local scene in a short time. By drawing inspiration from everything between The 1975 and Bo Kasper's Orkester, as well as by letting each band member put their mark on the sound, the band finds its own way to go and a unique soundscape. The riffs are happy and digestible, the groove is danceable and the atmosphere is always on top. The texts are reflective and painterly, with underlying meanings that add complexity and depth to the narrative. In 2023, the band presents Live on Air, the organic concept that takes its starting point in the glory days of radio. The band uses the songs to tell a story, and each story (and therefore also performance) is unique.
