Between January 1 and February 28, elementary school children all over Sweden voted for their favorite books from 2024 – and on Tuesday, April 8, it's time to reveal the three winning authors! Do you want to join in the celebration? We want to!
At 15 pm it's time for the big award ceremony at the City Theatre in Lund, and we promise – it will be an unforgettable moment! The Minister of Culture is on hand to present the award, as are Fabian Bonnier, chairman of the Bonnier Family Foundation, and Lovisa Fhager Logothetis, secretary general of the Bonnier Family Foundation. All on one and the same stage.
But it doesn't end there! We'll also enjoy a magical performance from Grannen Måns – an energy boost you don't want to miss! And as if that weren't enough, the host will be a well-known and beloved TV personality and author, who will keep the atmosphere high all the way.
So make sure to be there – this will be a party for both book lovers and anyone who loves a wonderful time filled with glitter, laughter and of course lots of book joy!
Litteralund is Sweden's largest festival for children's and young people's literature and aims to awaken a love of reading, writing and creating! Here, children and young people can take part in the program both through school and via a large number of public events, where literature is not the only focus - theater, film and dance are also allowed to take place.
