Most people appreciate parks and other greenery in the cities. But vegetation can also help deal with challenges such as floods, heat waves, air pollution and noise. Åsa Ode Sang is a professor of urban vegetation design at the Swedish University of Agriculture and works, among other things, with experiments where you try different designs of greenery and what they mean for ecosystem services and people's well-being. Organized in collaboration with Lund's Nature Conservation Association and Lund University's Sustainability Forum. Part of the Environmental Lecture Series. Free entry, no pre-registration required.
