The Ghost of Canterville

The ghost of Canterville isn't just any old bastard. On the one hand, she has what is usually politely described as "a big personality", and on the other hand, in a purely technical sense, she is a world-unique 3D-animated live avatar. This allows her to interact (read: argue) with the manor's intruders, both in sign language and in spoken Swedish.

But scaring away the moved-in family turns out to be very difficult. They are not afraid of anything! And it gets worse. Could it even be so bad that the ancient gas has something to learn from the stay types of these lives—about human phenomena like love and community? Huh, so terrible!

Don't miss this huggable guest comedy for the whole family, created by Riksteatern Crea, based on Oscar Wilde's humorous short story.

Jenny Schöldt Olsén has written the script and Joel Kankkonen and Lars Otterstedt are directing. The family is played by Johan Kankkonen, Mette Marqvardsen and Robert Fransson, while the ghost is animated by Jamila Ouahid.

The performance is performed in Swedish sign language and with Swedish speech on stage.
