With this project, we want to highlight the female composers Elfrida Andrée, Anna Bon di Venezia and Mélanie Bonis – whose music is far too rarely played.
All of these women had exciting lives that could be the plot of novels or films, which gives new perspectives when their life stories are reflected in the music they composed. By playing their works, we want to bring their stories to life, celebrate the composers for their work, and make the music accessible to the public.
