About the concert:
In this organ concert, Karin offers music from composers, singers and musicians who have touched her in different ways. Bach, Widor and Piaf are expected in this colorful program.
Artist biography
Karin Grönberg is a singer, actress and organist who writes her own performances. She has performed at Västerås Concert Hall, Victoriateatern, Västmanlands Teater, among others.
Ystad Theatre, Kristianstad Theatre, Kulturhuset Stadsteater and
Gothenburg City Theatre. She had her first singing performance at the age of six. At the same age she started playing the piano and at thirteen she started playing the organ.
Karin is educated at Skara Skolscen, Ersta Sköndal University and the Malmö Academy of Music.
As an organ soloist, she performs frequently and we have previously been able to hear her play organ concerts in, among others, Lomma Church, Västerås Cathedral, Lund Cathedral and Skara Cathedral.
Karin has so far produced three of her own performances.

The concert is part of Skåne's organ weeks, which are arranged by the Diocese of Lund in collaboration with the cathedral parish, the respective parish and Sensus Skåne-Blekinge with support from Sodalitium Majus Lundense, Lund Municipality, Musik i Syd and Kulturen i Lund.
