A warm welcome to a lecture with a hospital clown!
The hospital clowns have been collaborating with the palliative care department in Lund for several years, where their presence helps create moments of respite in an often demanding situation.
The hospital clowns meet each person with sensitivity and presence. By seeing, listening and feeling the atmosphere in the room, encounters are created that are unique to each individual. There are no ready-made scripts – each encounter is shaped based on the situation and can be playful, quiet, serious or filled with laughter.
During this lecture you will gain insight into the work of the Hospital Clowns at the palliative care department in Lund and their importance for patients, relatives and healthcare staff. Open to all, no pre-registration is required and we will provide refreshments.
The event is part of Palliative Week organized by the Palliative Development Center in Lund, in collaboration with Mobile Teams and specialized palliative care in Region Skåne.
