Song of the Sphinx: New Music from Villa San Michele

Last year, the composer David Riebe stayed for a while in Villa San Michele, Axel Munthe's home on Capri. Based on some of Munthe's antique art objects, and also in the villa as a work of art in itself, Riebe wrote four pieces of chamber music. This Thursday evening, three of them will be performed. There will also be a conversation about the objects, the place and the music with the curator of Villa San Michele Kristina Kappelin and Agneta Freccero, conservator and visual artist, as well as the composer himself. Tobias Lund is moderator.
