Rich in the country, rich in the city

Welcome to viewing!

In the Thomanderska home, the table is set with East Indian porcelain and crystal drinking glasses. In Blekingegården, everyone used their own wooden spoon for soup and porridge and the tankard filled with drink was passed around between those who were thirsty. In Thomanderska, the professor has thousands of books in his library, in Blekingegården only the catechism and the hymn book are on the shelf. So were they rich in one home and poor in the other? No, it really wasn't that simple.

Welcome to a viewing and a comparison between these two homes from the first part of the 1800th century. Today's guide is Johanna Lisberg Jensen.

Included in the entrance fee, no advance booking. Gathering at the back of the White House (entrance hall). There is a sign indicating where the assembly point is.
