Bob Hund's seventh member is advertising and designer Martin Kann. Since the beginning, he has built the band's visual universe and extended the band's philosophy with inventive, smart and challenging artwork such as album covers. Covers that in many cases have just as much recognition among the audience as the music itself.
Equipped with a standing desk, laptop and a small bowl of conference candies, Martin Kann will take us on an exposé into Bob Hund's world. The band's album covers and more will be projected onto a screen. As a common thread throughout the performance, the band is told through design.
How did the iconic pipe-smoking dog come about? Is “Cover: Martin Kann” the world's first selfie? Is it smart not to behave like people at the blackboard? All this and much more will (possibly) be answered during the evening.
After opening for Bob Hund in front of 18,000 people during their farewell concert at Zinkensdamms IP, Martin Kann is now taking his folk-educational performance on tour in the spring of 2026.
