What makes us feel at home? What makes us feel like strangers? How do we emotionally connect to our surroundings, and what parts of the physical landscape stay with us after we leave?
Through poetic series and photographs, 15 creators aged 17–23, from Denmark, Finland and Sweden, navigate inner and outer spaces, and reflect on the sense of home and belonging. The works on display have been created in artist-led workshops, in connection with the Nordic Mind Map project, an art camp that aims to create new opportunities for young people to make connections, using art as a language and framework.
The collected series will also be published as a Riso-printed zine. The zine will be celebrated with a release on October 1st at Se Din Konst.
