There will be crashed guitars, sing-alongs, rock'n'roll and sweat when Peg Parnevik returns to the stage at Mejeriet on November 28th with her long-awaited debut album in tow.
After a summer filled with well-attended stages and festivals, including an acclaimed gig on Gröna Lund's main stage with an audience that sang along to every word, it's clear: Peg is a live artist to be reckoned with. She gives it her all, every time. With a stage presence and attitude that hits straight in the gut – and the heart!
Peg Parnevik broke through in 2016 with her debut single “Ain't No Saint”, and was shortly afterwards awarded the award for “Newcomer of the Year” on P3 Guld. At the beginning of 2023, she marked a new era in Swedish. The first step was “Misslyckad & Hatad”, a song that quickly trended on TikTok and became an obvious audience favorite. The EP “Om ett par år” followed closely and was nominated for a Grammis for “Pop of the Year”.
That same fall, Peg appeared on Så Mycket Bättre, where her emotional interpretation of Ellen Krauss' song “The Wedding”, under the title “Bättre nu”, went straight to the hearts of listeners. The song sold platinum, topped both the Spotify Top 50 and Svensktoppen, and quickly became a soundtrack to weddings all over the country.
Now a few selected gigs await this fall, with an exclusive gig at Mejeriet on November 28. With the new single “Ta Honom” out and the debut album around the corner, Peg is more ready than ever.
