“Dålig Teve”, Dina Ögon’s first release in a year and a half, is a melancholic tear-jerker. We are thrown into a story in media res, the moment when a frozen relationship falls apart. Anna Ahnlund’s voice has never sounded this ambivalent before, and the lyrics have never been so fantastically bittersweet. If the lyrics capture a relationship in decay and regrowth, the music takes a different direction. The innocent playfulness that welled up in the soundscapes of both the debut and the follow-up Oas and Orion has been refined with layers of experience.
A new fourth album titled Människobarn was released in February – and it is undoubtedly Dina Ögon's most impressive.
