Welcome to viewing!
In the exhibition Dress code we show the most traditional of our costumes. It's about garments that have looked almost the same over the centuries; about garments that have been "in" and "out" and that have been made from fabrics that have been preserved, inherited and re-sewn. What was common in the past has today become something truly unique in a time when it takes courage to be popular. Ancient or completely modern?
Display in Dress code which is part of the exhibition Folk art & Design. Superintendent Karin Hindfelt is today's guide!
