In 2007, filmmaker Maud Nycander won the Guldbaggen for Best Documentary Film with 'The Nun', a portrait film about Sister Maria of the Annunciation who in 1997, at just 19 years old, moved to Glumslöv and entered the Carmelite Order, the strictest of all monastic orders.
Now 25 years later, she has followed up on how life turned out for her in the monastery and how things have turned out for her family that she left behind.
At the screenings on Tuesday, September 2 and Wednesday, September 3, director Maud Nycander will come to Kino for a conversation after the film. Tickets are on sale!
