Nordic Light: Therese Bohman

Therese Bohman is a writer and cultural journalist and regularly contributes to newspapers such as Expressen and Tidningen Vi. She debuted in 2010 with the acclaimed “Den drownknade”. Her novels feature themes such as relationship norms, sexuality, loneliness and class perspectives. The novel “Aftonland” was nominated for the August Prize in 2016.

In her latest novel “Sanningsberget” (2024), Therese Bohman returns to Kolmården, where she herself grew up. It is a story with elements of suspense where the main character is marked by a tragedy that occurs during her upbringing. It raises questions about art and truth, but also about how one is shaped into who one becomes. This autumn, the short novel “Kammakargatan” will be released.

Therese Bohman talks with the author Amanda Svensson, who most recently published the novel "Själens telegraf".

Please note that the venue is the City Hall! The conversation is also streamed freely online.

The Nordic Light series is a collaboration between the Public Libraries in Lund, the cultural activities of the Municipality of Lund and the Nordic Association.
