The eccentric Countess Amelie Posse ran a secret club during World War II. She came from Maryhill outside Landskrona and traveled around Skåne during the war, meeting like-minded people and founding branches of the resistance movement in Lund and Malmö.
The book The Tuesday Club is about crystal chandeliers, glamour, spies, the security police and the fight for a threatened democracy. Hear journalist and author Johan Erséus talk about his book The Tuesday Club: Amelie Posse's anti-Nazi resistance movement.
The Nordic Light series is a collaboration between the Public Libraries in Lund and the Nordic Association.
