Torborg Nedreaas (1906–1987) is one of Norway's most prominent post-war writers. She grew up in Bergen and had her big breakthrough in 1947 with Av månsken växter ingenting . Her best-known works also include the story of the girl Herdis; a trilogy that is considered one of the strongest coming-of-age stories in Norwegian literature.

Cilla Naumann has written several novels and is currently working on the book June Night Never Ends . She talks to Karin Nykvist, a literary scholar at Lund University and jury member of the Nordic Council Literature Prize.
The Nordic Light series is a collaboration between the Public Libraries in Lund and the Nordic Association.
