Welcome to lectures with free entry from 17.45 pm! The Nordenstedtska seminariet is a lecture series financed by the Nordenstedtska Stiftelsen.
The importance of God is often underestimated in contemporary historiography, despite the fact that faith has shaped people's actions far into the future. The priests served as the country's first intellectuals and played a central role in the interpretation and transmission of the faith for more than a thousand years. The lecture highlights the success of Christianity, its survival through Gustav Vasa's raids, the role of priest's wives in the spread of culture and the position of the church in the great battles of the 1900th century.
