"Niklas from Gothenburg" - Hisingen's funniest!

After the crowd rush at the Lisebergsteatern in the spring with 34 (!) sold-out performances, it feels incredibly fun that the surrounding municipalities and Stockholm get to take part in "Niklas from Gothenburg"

- There have been so many undeservedly many people at the performances this spring and people have been so kind and happy, so I'm really looking forward to getting out of town but still staying nearby and sleeping at home, almost all the time.

- Even being able to come back to the Lisebergsteatern this autumn is fantastic and a dream come true, says Niklas Andersson.

When Niklas Andersson put on the standup show "Medelmåtan från Hisingen" at the Draken in Gothenburg, the idea was to run one evening, but it ended up being extended, on extension, on extension. In total, he did over 60 performances of the critically acclaimed show and in the end more than 35 people around the country had seen Niklas' standup. Now, just over five years after the unexpected success, the audience once again gets the chance to see Hisingen's funniest when he s his new standup show "Niklas från Göteborg".

"Medelmåtan från Hisingen" was a nostalgic look back at a part of Gothenburg where everyone's parents worked at Volvo, SKF or at one of the shipyards and the coolest thing you could drink in the way of coffee was café au lait. "Niklas from Gothenburg", which premiered at Lisebergsteatern last spring, is partly a standalone continuation of Niklas' story, partly something completely new.

"Niklas from Gothenburg" premiered at Lisebergsteatern on February 2, 2024
