Nevergreens is the duo that writes the songs right in front of your eyes. With humor, musicality and with the help of the audience, a completely unique performance is created every time. A playful mix of pop concert and comedy show where the audience is involved, contributing topics for songs, singing along in sing-alongs if the songs turn out really well. The audience can be confident that it is Nevergreens who constantly take the risk – or chance? – of failing. But everyone gets to experience the dizzying feeling when you throw yourself into the unknown together.
Singer Svante Lodén and pianist Erik Hjärpe have worked together for a long time. They are members of the band Damn!, which has toured with Timbuktu for over 20 years. They are behind classics such as the music for SVT's Vintergatan and Stora Maskiner. In addition, they produce music, theater, videos and TV.
For the past five years, Nevergreens has been a recurring success on intimate stages in Malmö, Lund, Stockholm and at Radio Malmöhus. Here, emotional ballads and surreal revue numbers are mixed with breakneck monologues and guesses of top chart songs – or why not old records brought by the audience?
This is something completely different from anything else you can see on stage today. And you can be a part of it!
