During the period 12 August to 16 September, six people with connections to Lund have been given the honorary task of holding a night vigil.
The night watchman embraces the night and the city and offers a different cultural experience under the theme "warning". The night vigil takes place on six different occasions under the open sky for only 15 minutes. Warm welcome!
Kent Wisti and Susanne Dahl
August 12, Domkyrkoplatsen, at 22 p.m
"Summer night kiss" with the priest, visual artist and writer, Kent Wisti and the priest, poet Susanne Dahl. They offer a meditation in words, images and tone on the High vision. The form is erotica, the matter is peace and critique of power.
Joakim Månsson Bengtsson, LundaPride

In connection with the LundaPride festival, the organization's chairman Joakim Månsson Bengtsson will be the evening's night watchman.
Madubuko Diakité
August 26, Mårtenstorget at 22 p.m
Madubuko Diakité is a human rights lawyer, researcher, writer and documentary filmmaker born in Harlem in 1940. Diakité moved to Lund in the early 70s to pursue a doctorate in film studies. In 1992 he also took a law degree at Lund University and has since practiced law and researched human rights at the Raoul Wallenberg Institute and been active in anti-discrimination organizations in Sweden.
Felicia Jackson
September 2, Stortorget, at 22 p.m
Felicia Jackson goes by the title of the involuntary comedian as everything she says is entertaining. Raised in Gunnesbo in Lund with a mixed background. Felicia's night watch is a love letter to Lund: "A city that is more than just a university and culture. I will try to give a depiction of what it is like to grow up outside the academic sect and what it is that drives you back despite a lifetime of feeling like an outsider.”
Liza Fry
September 9, Stortorget, at 22 p.m
Liza Fry has worked with children, young people and the performing arts all her life. This summer she also debuted as an author with Skatpakten, a young adult novel about grooming. Liza is also a trained actor and has been artistic director at Drömmarnas hus at Rosengård in Malmö for fifteen years. Since 2022, she has been working at the Sagohuset theater in Lund.
DJ Club Cadaver
16 September (Kulturnatten), Botulfsplatsen, at 22 pm
Ida Levison aka DJ Klubb Kadaver is a well-known face in Lund, and has played at everything from Skissernas museum to Valborg in Stadsparken. She is active on the club scene in Copenhagen and Malmö. DJ Klubb Kadaver chooses songs with high energy and creates an atmosphere that is tough and at the same time full of joy.
