The marriage between Hildegard and Jörgen has probably been strained even before the strip club came to the village. But now! No one is left untouched by this incredible addition to the entertainment scene. Who is for it and who is against it? And as if that weren't enough, Näcken himself is roaming around the edge of the forest.
The frustrated Hildegard, played by Anna Blomberg, finds her life turned upside down. When she and dancer Jessica hunt the mysterious Näcken, not only does an unexpected friendship arise, she also realizes that the secret she has been carrying will soon be exposed.
In the middle of a small town, everyday life, dreams and longing meet. When the strip club came to the village is a story with warm humor and big heart, where people try to find their way back to each other – and to themselves.
