Myra Granberg has released four songs from her upcoming second album MURPHY this year, which will be released in spring 2025, including “Tills jag somnar” and “Dansa min docka”. On the album, Myra portrays different emotional states and stages that she has been through over the past 1,5 years. A relatable and revealing story is told here – both musically and visually.
On October 18, she will release the single “Ljuger för mig själv”, which is a brutally honest song about insights that arise in the dark, just before life turns towards something better. The song is written by Myra Granberg, Kerstin Ljungström and Fanny Hultman, and produced by Myra Granberg.
Myra's words about “Lying to myself”:
“When the eyes had turned pitch black from the hole in my chest, denial became as easy to believe in as believing in Santa Claus when you were a child. It becomes easy because you want to believe in it. You want to believe in it so that the world might become beautiful enough to continue to exist in. After perhaps the most crucial period in my life, I see clearly how I had become a pro at lying to myself, but maybe from this song on – that’s also the end of it. After 18 years, I’ve stopped running. ‘Lying to Myself’ is the part from my new album where the darkness takes over completely, but it’s also there in the darkness that small, small seeds get to take root.”
Myra has been touring extensively in recent years. During the summer, she once again showed her strength as a live artist when she played to enthusiastic audiences around the country on her tour – including at festivals and as support for Miss Li at selected venues. In the spring of 2025, you will have the chance to experience her live when she embarks on her long-awaited tour – Who the hell is Murphy? Tour.

THE CROSSWAY
After Sweden's Tiktok crowd believed that Korsvägen's release "Vi Två" was sung by Victor Leksell, many people opened their ears/eyes to the trio from GBG, including Alan Max who has already interviewed them.
Nico, Andreas and Erik are three guys from the Gothenburg area who have been involved in their own music projects in their own places over the years. In 2023 they came together and released their first song as the group Korsvägen.
This is what the trio themselves say:
“Our music has its roots in Swedish popular culture and we want to invite listeners on a journey filled with all kinds of emotions. It can be everything from minor keys in heartbreak to warm declarations of love that give hope for something better. We want the music to feel easy to absorb while at the same time leaving room for each listener to interpret it in their own way.”
Korsvägen has a knack for mixing perfect, commercial melodies with heartfelt, relatable lyrics. The influences are delightfully diverse; everything from Juice Wrld's trap-pop to The Smiths' most accessible tones can be heard here – and finally landing in modern pop for the likes of Victor Leksell, Estraden and Thomas Stenström. Throw in pop geniuses like Max Martin and Jack Antonoff – who all of Korsvägen love – and you're at home.
