Mwuana has long been one of Swedish music's most distinctive voices. Since his critically acclaimed debut album Triller (2017), which was awarded the P3 Gold for Hiphop of the Year and three Grammy nominations, he has consistently forged his own path – musically, linguistically and artistically. His sound moves freely between hip-hop, R'n'B and alternative pop, and his way of switching between Swedish and English has become part of his signature.
2025 marks the beginning of a new musical chapter for Mwuana. On June 5th, he will release HEAT – an album that embodies everything that has made him one of Swedish music's most distinctive voices. Back in March, the double single Eazy Breezy & Gift & Curse was released, two tracks that quickly found their audience and which, with their melodic and nostalgic energy, became a clear soundtrack for spring.
On May 16th, the single Siktar Högre feat. Cleo was released – a collaboration with another of Sweden’s most influential voices – Cleo. The result is a song that is brimming with lust for life and hope when we need it most. It is a declaration of love to the present, to the street, to the club and to the freedom to feel a lot, loudly and together.
With over a hundred released songs, millions of streams and a listener base that has grown organically over time, Mwuana has cemented his role as one of the most interesting voices of his generation. On October 18th, he returns to the Skåne live scene for a gig at Mejeriet – where the stage becomes an extension of his music: close, uncompromising and full of presence.
