Peter founded BRIQ in 2006 with a mission to shape future village development and strengthen the understanding of how good and socially sustainable village life is created. Peter has followed developments in many metropolises and seen how communities and local neighborhoods have become 'the new destinations'. He has also often seen it happen, that experiences, trade and culture are forgotten in the process where neighborhoods and buildings are developed. Peter's message was - and still is today: If the goal is stay and social cities, then commerce, culture and recreational villages are precisely the teams that bring the city together and create quality of life.
At the head of BRIQ, Peter has helped to create a new approach to commercial village development, which is about creating unique destinations in the town. The method involves a careful balancing of commercial, recreational and cultural functions and how the interaction between these is optimised. With his approach to the development of new places and village life, Peter and the team at BRIQ are specialists in creating new village communities that people enjoy taking part in - and places in the town that offer soul, atmosphere, creative power, fire spirits, new concepts - places that you return to.
