A STANDUP SHOW ABOUT CULTURE Clashes, LOST MASCULINITY AND THE FAMILY DREAM THAT ALMOST CAME TRUE.
After meeting his stubborn Serbian woman and starting a family, Mårten Andersson gets really lost in his masculinity. Macho culture meets softie culture and there will be lots of funny clashes and new insights. Mårten discovers a lively, crazy Balkan where even the pets smoke and Stasha is met by a square, reserved Sweden where it is supposed to be quiet in the bus queue. In addition, the couple's age difference is starting to make itself felt.
In 2024, Mårten Andersson will go on an extended tour of Sweden with his third solo show, Mårten Cvetkovic, which has been praised around the country by both audiences and reviewers. It's a real feel-good show based on one genuine and authentic story about dreams, love, young children's lives, prejudices and humanity. The show is also about what it's like to come to Sweden as an immigrant and for Mårten about life as an involuntary housewife and the fear of becoming a grumpy, visually impaired and seat-peeing Swedish old man.
Don't miss seeing the hottest comedy show of the year when it is now played for the absolute last time in autumn 2024!
Press voices about Mårten Cvetkovic
"I laugh so hard that the tears flow almost all the time during 90 minutes. Mårten alternates extremely skillfully between Swedish and immigrant Swedish and is extremely responsive to loud audience comments from a salon which, when I see the show, consists almost half of people with a Balkan background. They seem to love the show the most. Without Mårten writing on people's noses, there is also an underlying empathic message here, that we should all be able to live with each other, regardless of origin or sexual orientation." Jan'Olov Andersson, Aftobladet
