During the day, there is free entry to Kulturen i Lund, where a packed program awaits. Bring a picnic basket and settle down in the park, visit the Café of Culture or the 1800th-century Alice and Cat Tea Room for tea and Victorian pastries. At Kulturens café, pianist Erik Ask-Upmark plays folk-friendly melodies from the period 1850–1950.
Screening in Thomanderska huset at Kulturen at 11.00-11.30 & at 13.00-13.30
In the beautiful grey-blue house in the middle of Kulturens friluftsmuseum, the Thomander family once lived - Johan Henrik and Emilie moved in as newlyweds in 1833-34. Johan Henrik made a career as, among other things, a priest, professor, member of parliament and translator. At the end of his life he was bishop in Lund. Here in the house that once stood on Paradisgatan, they lived until 1850.

As the wife of Karl X Gustav, mother of Karl XI and grandmother of Karl XII, Hedvig Eleonora lived in a time when Sweden was at the height of its political power. It was a time of cultural flourishing but also a period marked by plague, famine and witch trials. Professor emerita Eva Helen Ulvros tells about one of the colorful women of the great power era.

Try hand-coloring 20s photos
Drop-in crafts in the Workshop at 13.30 – 15.00 p.m
A hundred years ago, in the 1920s, it was black and white photos that mattered. But if you still wanted color, you could always ask the photographer to hand-colour, i.e. colour, the pictures for you. Today you can try hand-coloring copies of 20s photos in Kulturen's educational workshop. Please visit our exhibition 2 twenties on your own to get in the right mood before the craft!
In Kulturen's educational workshop, next door the play exhibition in the Allmogehallen. An exhibition educator is always on site, but remember that it is the accompanying adult who is responsible for the children during the activities. No pre-booking, drop-in.
Lecture: Typhoid fever, violence, silent children and drunkenness – the misery of war during the Battle of Lund 1676 at 15.00–16.00
In his talk, archaeologist Anders Ödman uses, among other things, priests' stories and court records to give a picture of Charles XI's and Christian V's misdeeds, as well as how the Scanian war affected the innocent civilians.
