The performance Rörelsen has been created by and with members of Lunds Fontänhus, a work-oriented organization for people with mental illness. On stage we meet their own stories – with body, words, doubt and strength. The movement is based on the participants' own experiences, thoughts and stories. Through scenic images, body, words and humor, it is made visible what it can be like to live in a society that often sets high demands – and what it means to belong to something, to try, to be listened to. The movement is not just a stage performance. It is also an opportunity to gather around important questions about mental health, human dignity and what it means to be part of something bigger. It is aimed at everyone – those of you who have your own experiences, those of you who are relatives, those of you who are curious, questioning, or just want to listen.
